The Investment Committee consists of representatives of Investors in FCCF, independent sector experts and Directors of the Fund. Its mission is to take decisions relating to the acquisition and disposal of investments as well as all other decisions relating to the management of the Sub-Fund’s portfolio, on the basis of a proposal by the Investment Adviser.

Kaspar Wansleben

Executive Director

Kaspar Wansleben is the Managing Director of Investing for Development, the asset management structure of the Forestry and Climate Change Fund. Kaspar has a background in development finance and microfinance in particular where he worked at the International Labour Organisation and at PlanetRating and as fund manager of the Luxembourg Microfinance and Development Fund since 2009.

Kaspar’s background is in finance and he is a chartered accountant of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales. He worked for KPMG for 5 years, is a visiting lecturer at the Luxembourg University on social entrepreneurship. In 2022, Kaspar was nominated as a member  of the Luxembourg High Council for Sustainable Development.
